Tesla Coil - Official Skill - Season IV

:high_voltage: Tesla Coil – Season 4’s New Butler Skill

With the launch of Season 4 in Last War: Survival, a powerful new defensive skill called Tesla Coil has been introduced for the Butler role during the Copper War. This strategic skill adds a fresh tactical layer for defending alliances, offering new ways to disrupt enemy offensives.

:wrench: What is Tesla Coil?

Tesla Coil is a defensive-only skill available exclusively to the Butler of the defending alliance during the Preparation and War stages of Copper War. It targets enemy bases with two major effects:

  • :chart_decreasing: Reduces the durability of enemy bases
  • :skull: Kills a portion of the troops stationed in those bases

This softens up enemy positions and makes it harder for them to launch successful attacks on your alliance structures.

:bullseye: Who Gets Affected?

Tesla Coil has a very focused targeting system designed to avoid collateral damage and ensure strategic fairness:

:white_check_mark: It affects:

  • Enemy bases belonging to the opposing alliance you are currently at war with in the Copper War

:cross_mark: It does NOT affect:

  • other alliances of either Faction
  • Your own alliance or friendly bases
  • Neutral players or uninvolved bases

:four_o_clock: When Can It Be Used?

  • :man_standing: Only usable by the Butler of the defending alliance
  • :hourglass_not_done: Active during the Preparation and War stages of Copper War
  • :shield: Can be used strategically to delay, disrupt, or weaken enemy attacks before they reach critical points

:pushpin: Strategic Use Tips

To maximize Tesla Coil’s impact:

  • :bullseye: Target high-value enemy bases early to reduce their combat effectiveness
  • :counterclockwise_arrows_button: Coordinate with your alliance for follow-up attacks that capitalize on weakened enemy bases
  • :round_pushpin: Deploy it in zones where enemy bases are clustered to maximize damage and troop casualties
  • :stopwatch: Use at the right moment — not too early to waste the effect, and not too late to miss the window of opportunity

:high_voltage: Powering Up Tesla Coil

Want your Tesla Coil to hit harder and work better? Make sure to send Electricians with your squad when reinforcing your Alliance Center. The more Electricians you assign, the stronger the effect of Tesla Coil. That’s it!

This simple move helps you tap into the full potential of the skill—no complex strategies required.

:shield: Casting & Vulnerability

Unlike Atomic Breath, Tesla Coil fires instantly—there is no countdown, no War Fever status on the Butler’s base, and no vulnerability window. The skill activates immediately upon use, and the Butler’s base cannot be attacked

:cross_mark: No countdown — Tesla Coil activates instantly when used
:cross_mark: Butler’s base is not vulnerable — no War Fever status, and it cannot be attacked to interrupt the skill
:white_check_mark: Safe to use at any time during the allowed phases without risk of cancellation or targeting

:memo: Final Note

Tesla Coil is a precision defensive tool designed to support your alliance during the most intense moments of Copper War. While it won’t single-handedly win battles, it plays a crucial role by:

  • Weakening enemy durability
  • Reducing their stationed troops
  • Buying your team valuable time to reorganize and counterattack

If you’re the Butler this season, mastering Tesla Coil’s timing and target selection can significantly tilt the battlefield in your alliance’s favor.

Question, can the warlord missile be taken out with the tesla coil if a member was close enough to strike him? If would effectively ash the base bc if he moves, the warlord missile cancels.

That’s a smart way to think about it. Dropping a Tesla Coil near the Warlord will definitely weaken their base. However, it won’t fully destroy the base or force a teleport — so it won’t stop the missile launch by itself. You’d still need to actively attack the base to cancel the missile.

Also, keep in mind that Warlords often launch missiles from remote far locations, so you may want to consider whether it’s better to use your Tesla Coil against the Warlord directly or target a more densely packed enemy hive for maximum impact.

If you try it, let us know if it works or how it goes—curious to hear if it does the trick
