Alliance Exercise – Sandworm Crisis Event Guide
When your server enters Season 3 (and beyond), Sandworms permanently replace Marshal’s Guard tanks in the Alliance Exercise. Here’s an easy-to-follow breakdown guide.
Event Basics
- Frequency: Every 2–3 days
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Goal: Rally against the central Large Sandworm, manage Small Sandworm spawns, and earn points for individual & alliance rewards
Three HP-Based Stages
The event advances when your alliance chips down the Large Sandworm’s HP past key thresholds:
- Stage 1 – Initial Assault (100 %→70 % HP) • Only the central Large Sandworm is on the platform. • Focus on establishing your rally rhythm and dealing steady damage.
- Stage 2 – Small Sandworm Phase (70 %→30 % HP)
• Small Sandworms begin spawning on random member bases.
• Affected bases cannot dispatch new marches until the worm is cleared.
• Ongoing rallies or queued marches will still complete, but you’re blocked from launching anything new until the worm is cleared.
• Clearing options:
- Kill it: Send any squad (solo march) from your base to defeat the Small Sandworm and collect its minor reward.
- Teleport away: Instantly moves your base and removes the worm—no reward, but you rejoin rallies immediately.
- Stage 3 – Final Push (< 30 % HP)
• Small spawns stop, and the Large Sandworm turns enraged.
• Large worm attacks player’s bases. You can reinforce the targeted player base to repel the attack.
• Rally damage ramps up to finish off its remaining HP.
• Use your best buffs and squads for maximum points.
Difficulty Levels & Scoring – Sandworm Exercise
Before each Alliance Exercise begins, R4 or R5 officers manually select the Sandworm difficulty level, which determines the HP of the Large Sandworm and the potential rewards.
Difficulty Levels
- Difficulty ranges from Level 40 to Level 90, increasing in increments of 10 (e.g. Lv. 40, Lv. 50, Lv. 60… up to Lv. 90).
- Higher levels = more HP, stronger worm, and better rewards.
- The selected level applies to the central Large Sandworm only.
Tip: Choose a level that matches your alliance’s rally strength. If you can’t consistently deal 50%+ damage per rally, drop down a level next time.
Small Sandworm – Damage & Scoring Contribution
Do They Count Toward Points?
Yes, defeating a Small Sandworm does contribute to your personal score and overall event progress.
- When you send a solo march to kill a Small Sandworm on your base, the damage dealt is counted toward your total event points.
- The worm has a fixed HP pool (based on your server’s progression), and every point of damage equals 1 event point, just like with the Large Sandworm.
- It helps reduce the Large Sandworm’s HP indirectly, as all damage dealt during the event is pooled for progression.
- It counts toward the alliance’s total damage.
Tip: If your squad defeats the Small Sandworm in one hit, you’ll earn full points for its HP value.
Quick Strategy Tips
- Squad Roles: • 2nd Squad → Rally launcher • Main Squad → Rejoins every rally for top damage
- Stagger Launches: Begin 2nd-squad rallies at 30 sec intervals for the first 4–5 minutes.
- Platform Proximity: March your base next to the rally portal so your main squad can rejoin every 2–3 minutes.
- Small Sandworm kills: useful if rally slots are full or cooldowns are active
